What you need:

04:01 cup flour
1 tablespoon melted butter
2 cups chicken broth
2 cups Half & Half
04:01 cup butter
1 / 2 pound fresh broccoli
1 cup julienne-cut carrots
02:01 minced onion
8 ounces grated Cheddar cheeseCheese
4.1 teaspoon nutmeg
Salt and black pepper to taste

How-to:

Melt the butter in a saucepan and then fry the onion until it is soft. Transfer onions to a plate with a slotted spoon. Pour the butter in a saucepan. Blend for 4 minutes, then gradually and the Half & Half and keep beating the mixture. Stir in chicken broth and keep whisking.

Lower the heat to low and add onions, carrots and broccoli. Simmer soup for 20 minutes,and then season to taste with salt and pepper. Puree the soup in batches in a blender until smooth and then put it back into the soup pot. With the heat, add the cheddar cheese and stir in nutmeg. Serve this soup hot dip recipe cream with bread.
