Just crumbs of homemade bread is easier than you think! It 's a great way to use up left over small slices of bread, crust of bread, hamburger buns and hot dogs, nuggets, crackers and pretzels thin.

Materials needed:

Dehydrator (I'm using a shell made of Ronco ™ 7)
Blender or food processor
A big pot (I use a 32 cup bowl)
2 large gallon size freezer bags
1 large airtight container with seal

BreadProducts required:

Bread, rolls, crackers, pretzels

Spices must:

Basil, oregano, parsley, rosemary, chopped dill, season salt, black pepper, chives, salt, garlic or garlic powder, dried

Pre-preparation:

The first thing to do is to close two large zippered pockets or a gallon recycle some of your bread bags. (I usually do not recommend it again with bags of bread, but in this case, it will work fine).

In the coming weeks or months, asShe left more than bread and rolls, put them in the freezer bag and freeze. After saving two bags full of bread products, you are ready to make your bread crumbs.

Preparation:

Remove start bag frozen bread from the freezer two hours before ready to thaw at room temperature.

Set up your nuts. Place your bread slices on dehydrator trays. If you pull, separateTops from the bottom and set it down on the tray. If they are too large, then tear it into smaller pieces hesitate. Put the lid back of the dryer and set the temperature low. It takes 6-8 hours for your baked goods from drying out completely.

* Note: The best time to do this is at night when you get up in the morning, they are ready to be turned into bread crumbs.

After 6-8 hours, you are now ready to begin first with bread crumbs. Turn the nuts and remove the trays. You can use a food processor or blender for the next step. (I have discovered that a food processor works best).

Divide your bread cut into small pieces and pieces in the blender. Replace the lid and use the keyboard or chop the mixture. You want to run the food processor until the bread products are the consistency of bread flour. Turn theKitchen> reboot.

Remove the lid and add your spices and herbs. You will be after season to taste "is. I like to use about 1 tablespoon each spice or herb. Replace the lid and stir again for 30 seconds.

You have to keep your new bread crumbs in an airtight container after drying. We recommend that you keep in a cool, dry and dark, like a pantry or kitchen cupboard.

This is to use a great way to meet all your baked goods remaineddo not waste it. I like to use my homemade bread crumbs in meatloaf, meatballs, fish and chicken to coat.
